From France to New York City.
A teaching career shaped by pedagogy, teacher development, regular classes, long-term partnerships and international dance communities.
Education & teacher development
A foundation in pedagogy.
Gab holds a master’s degree in pedagogy. His background as a school teacher informs how he observes learners, structures lessons and supports independent learning.
Years of teaching teachers.
Teaching people how to teach has become a specialty of Gab’s work, alongside curriculum design and pedagogical coaching.
This work connects the decisions inside a single lesson with the larger progression of a course.
First teaching years
Early Brazilian Zouk teaching in Rennes, France, alongside Marie Robert, before Gab's teaching work expanded toward Paris.
Gab & Sabrina
Several years of regular Brazilian Zouk teaching with Sabrina Beija-Flor, including Paris classes, workshops, social events and European appearances. This period also included Gab's growing work as a Zouk DJ.
Gab & Patrycja
A long-term Brazilian Zouk and Lambada teaching and performance partnership with Patrycja Jakimczyk, with work across European dance communities.
Gab & Caroline
Collaboration with Caroline Haugsted, later becoming an official dance partnership in 2024. Their work included teaching and creative projects across Europe, Mexico and South America, alongside development of Zouk Art Empowerment.
Pedagogy-led training
Current work brings together weekly classes, private training, kinesthetic practice, dance mentorship and workshops, alongside teacher development and curriculum design.
Regular teaching
Long-term class programs designed around progression rather than one-off combinations.
Partner collaborations
Multiple long-term teaching and performance partnerships across different countries and dance communities.
Workshops & festivals
Teaching in event formats where material has to be clear, transferable and useful with limited contact time.
Brazilian Zouk + Lambada
Experience across both dances, with attention to their technical and pedagogical differences.
DJ work
Years of involvement in Zouk culture through music curation as well as teaching and performance.
Movement education
A teaching approach grounded in a master’s degree in pedagogy and continuing work on how people learn.
New York base. International scope.
Today, Gab works across classes, private training, mentorship, workshops and creative projects. The common thread is movement understanding: identifying what organizes a movement, practicing the right constraint and transferring the skill into spontaneous dancing.
For organizers
The workshop page explains available formats, teaching directions and how to get in touch for festivals, schools and communities.
Different cities, partners and projects — one consistent question: how do you help dancers understand movement deeply enough to make it their own?
